This is gonna be very helpful in a digital painting I'm trying to tackle as my 1st time ever! Thanks a bunch for uploading this! ^_^
I hope you don't mind my asking for ideas... <=3 as the challenge I'm going to be attempting to do is to take different wood grains and make/turn them into rocks.
Basically, I'm wanting to morph the wood grains onto the rocks so that it makes you think that the ending formation should be wood in nature but when one studies the thing carefully, one comes to the realization that in reality is technically rock.
And what the only hint that this is a natural rock formation would be due to its sheer size (mountain) and the fact that it contains a cave inside.
Perhaps you may have a rough idea to start?
